Yes, entirely. The tour is led by an official English-speaking guide and the whole group is English-speaking. It is not a tour in another language with translation, nor a mixed group where every explanation is repeated twice.
Yes. A single booking covers your official entry to Seville Cathedral, access to the Giralda bell tower and the guided tour with a confirmed entry time. There is nothing to buy separately and you do not queue twice.
Yes, and it is enforced at the entrance. Shoulders must be covered, shorts and skirts must reach the knee, and hats come off inside. It applies to everyone, children included, because the Cathedral is a working place of worship. A light scarf or shirt in your bag is enough in summer — once you are at the door there is no way around it.
Easier than most people expect. The tower was designed so that a rider could reach the top on horseback: instead of a staircase there are 34 wide, gentle ramps. Only the final stretch up to the bell chamber is a staircase. Most visitors in good health manage it without difficulty; take your time, wear comfortable shoes, and bear in mind that the tower gets hot in summer.
Yes, and you are very welcome to. There is no lift, so the tower is not wheelchair accessible and we do not recommend the climb for visitors with reduced mobility or heart conditions. If you would rather not go up, you wait inside the Cathedral while the group climbs, and the visit continues together afterwards. Tell us when you book and the guide will know.
No. This tour covers the Cathedral and the Giralda. If you also want to see the Royal Alcázar, our full tour brings the three monuments together in one booking, with one guide and one entry time. It is also the better option when Alcázar slots are already sold out for your dates, because the Cathedral rarely fills up as far in advance.
The guided visit lasts around 1 hour 30 minutes, including the climb up the Giralda, and your ticket does not expire when the guide finishes. You can stay inside until the monument closes: go back to whatever you liked most, take your time over Columbus’s tomb, the chapels and the treasury, or rest in the shade of the Patio de los Naranjos with the Giralda above you.
Yes, for every person on the booking. Cathedral tickets are nominative: each one carries the name of a single visitor and staff can ask for matching identification at the entrance. Children need their own named ticket too, so have the document numbers to hand before you start the booking. A photo on your phone is normally accepted.
At the main entrance of the Archivo de Indias, the monument between the Cathedral and the Alcázar. Access is through the single door on the Avenida de la Constitución side, next to the Jardines de la Lonja. Your guide or a member of our team will be waiting there before the departure time.
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 7 days before the tour, with a 100% refund. Up to 24 hours before departure, the refund is 70%. After that we cannot refund, because the monument tickets have already been issued in your name and cannot be resold.
